Choirs, Ensembles and Orchestras

Choral, ensemble, and orchestral activities are an important part of the educational and creative life of the Sayat-Nova Music School. By participating in various performing groups, students develop their performance skills, learn to listen to one another, work toward a shared artistic result, and gain valuable stage experience. The school’s choirs, ensembles, and orchestras maintain an active concert schedule, performing on different stages and taking part in festivals, competitions, and cultural projects. These activities not only contribute to the students’ professional development, but also foster a culture of collaboration, shared responsibility, and making music together.

Performing together on Armenian traditional instruments promotes greater knowledge and preservation of Armenia’s musical heritage and helps pass it on to a new generation.

In a handbell ensemble, each performer is responsible for a specific part of the overall musical texture. This work develops rhythmic precision, concentration, and the ability to collaborate with others.
