Garik Nazaryan is a musician, cultural professional, and organizer of cultural education programs and initiatives. He received his professional education at the Komitas State Conservatory of Yerevan, specializing in folk instruments, particularly the kamancha, as well as symphonic conducting.
After completing his service in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia, he became actively involved in cultural initiatives, leading the “Hayatsk” Cultural Youth Organization. He served as the founding director of the “National Gallery” International Music Festival and the “Return” Classical Music Festival.
He later continued his professional career in the field of cultural management. He worked at the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Armenia as an expert, and in 2019 was appointed Head of the Culture Division of the Department of Culture and Tourism of the Yerevan Municipality.
Since 2024, he has served as Director of the Sayat-Nova Music School of Yerevan.
